# Telegram

> Paste a bot token and Tied handles the rest — webhook registration included.

Telegram is the default messenger across large parts of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South Asia, and it's the fastest channel in Tied to switch on precisely because there's no review process — you own the bot, so there's nothing for anyone else to approve.

## How it works

    Tied checks it against Telegram's API immediately — an invalid token is rejected on the spot, not
    discovered later when a message fails to send.

## What you can send

Text with basic formatting (bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, links, inline code, blockquotes), attachments, and a simple button-style choice list. Telegram Business connections are supported too, so a bot can sit behind a personal Telegram account configured for business use.
