# Upsert integration action override

`PUT /api/v1/accounts/{account_id}/integrations/settings/action/{action_key}`

Administrator-only tenant overlay. action\_key is one slash-free path segment including dots (for example synthetic.read). PUT permits flat disabled, manual\_only, approval\_tier and rate\_limit. Unknown keys return 422, not 404. Approval/rate are checked against code defaults, not the preceding tenant restriction: lowering a previously tightened tier/rate back toward code is accepted; false resets flags and null clears nullable tier/rate. DELETE removes the stored row and restores code defaults; missing row returns 404. Thus today this is not a monotonic tighten-only tenant policy. Invalid values return a single error string, not field errors. Connected-app credentials are held by the integration provider and are not returned by any of these operations. ENG-5874 / ENG-5831 track consistent unknown-provider and field-level validation behavior; this documents current behavior.
