# Upsert integration provider setting

`PUT /api/v1/accounts/{account_id}/integrations/settings/provider/{provider_config_key}`

Administrator-only upsert, flat JSON fields sync\_depth (summary/full) and connection\_scope (org/user). Unknown providers and invalid values return 422 with a single error string. Scope is stored but inactive. full opts into full-class provider data; persisted full-to-summary queues a strip job. This can widen the summary default. Connected-app credentials are held by the integration provider and are not returned by any of these operations. ENG-5874 / ENG-5831 track consistent unknown-provider and field-level validation behavior; this documents current behavior.
