Forwarding (set up first) gets your existing inbox receiving through Tied. It doesn’t change how a reply looks on the way out — that’s controlled by two separate account-level flags, both off until Tied turns them on for you.
Both settings live in account-level General Settings, not on an individual inbox — they apply across every email inbox on the account.

The two flags

Both are off by default and account-wide once enabled. Neither replaces the per-channel address you set up when connecting an email inbox — they change how that channel presents itself, not how it’s created.

Authorizing your domain to send

Sending “from” a domain that hasn’t authorized the sending server gets flagged as spoofed. Gmail, Outlook and every major receiver check SPF and DKIM on the sending domain before trusting a message. That’s true of any provider you point a custom domain at, Tied included.
Plan for this as a DNS task, not a dashboard task — someone with access to your domain’s DNS will need to add the records that authorize Tied’s mail infrastructure to send as you, before mail from your own domain is trusted rather than spam-flagged.

No channel fee

This is a deliverability setup, not a metered channel — no Tied channel fee applies. See Channel fees.
